reading groups
Ria and I had a chat about pgs meeting to discuss material processes and swapping excerpts from texts in addition to the intensives, like another version of the reading group.
Any thoughts?

I’ve taken a long time to respond, but it sounds like a great idea Vanessa. I’d be really happy to meet up as suggested. I’m in the Blue Mountains, but for the rest of the year intend being at ANU one Friday a month. How does this work out for others? I know the S of Music cafe meetings are happening, but maybe something over lunch?
Wendy
wow, thanks for the response Wendy, it seems everyone was snowed under when I initially voiced the idea, although the emergent pg coffee network initiated by Cathy on wattle seems to have reinvigorated pg interest in the ideas around such exchanges and therefore may be the exact regular forum we are looking for. I have been attended the coffees and they are social at the moment with new participants each week, but there are some regulars and tomorrow I will suggest the introduction of an entirely optional reading group style dimension. This could link to the blog for the benefit of other pgpainters giving the blog a purpose again!
