Group Performance to Composition Painting No. 1

 Audio File:

Painting Group Interpretation of Compostion Painting No.1

I have uploaded the raw recording of the group’s sound interpretation of my painting. Over the next few weeks I shall work with the file and add other tracks. When finish the tracks I will upload the manipulated file so there will be a ‘before’ and ‘after’ recording to listen to.

I thought it would be good feedback to everyone who participated to hear what the performance actually sounded like before I start working with it. Also, I would like to thank all of you very much for your participation.

Keep an eye on this space for the finished recording.

Aria Stone Corridors Works On Paper 2010

I thought I would share with you what I did over the holidays to keep my sanity. I stayed at home doing studies on paper in between my other work commitments. Works on paper inspired by the trees at Lake Mokoan and song inspired by the beautiful people who plant corridors of trees to protect the small birds and animals. The song was written during my time spent at Benalla last year with Field Studies and was recorded at home.

Book of Life

Book of Life

Book of Life

After a month of getting sweaty and making a joyful mess, I have finally finished a time lapse animation for one of my original songs. The video is a documentation of the process of sponteneous mark making and splashing paint around in a slow motion frenzy. The experience has been a great learning curve and an exercise in persistence.

It is best to view the video with speakers so you can hear the song to ensure that it makes some kind of nonsensical sense. Book of Life can be located at the following link – www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_pw0ueU4rw

Enjoy!
